question, when I post on the treasury, deposit/payment the deposit ID must be changed each time, this does not print out on the deposit

Hi Doris! Could you please provide a bit more information about this. This could be related to your post information settings. Please check out the following to see if that deposit # is listed - GL > Settings > Business Rules > Posting Information

when I am adding a deposit, it will not allow me to move to the next process until I enter the deposit ID

Do you mean you have to enter a deposit ID when entering a deposit, not posting it? Wanted to clarify that first. 2nd, at least in my sample database, I can leave the Deposit ID blank if I want and still save the deposit , and move on to adding payments etc. When you're adding a deposit in treasury, is there a red Asterisk on the field for Deposit ID? In mine it doesn't have that.

Yes, I have to enter the deposit ID, otherwise the red Asterix appears and I can't move forward

I did not put anything in the Deposit ID and I was able to move on to the next portion of the deposit.

I did not enter the deposit ID, and it allowed me to move onto the next deposit step. learning new things
