Journal Entry Import in NXT

I used the journal entry import in NXT for the first time today. I validated first in database mode and then again in NXT. When I ran the import in NXT, it didn't import rows that had a project ID. Fortunately of my 200+ rows, only 10 or so had a project ID and I could add them without taking too long. No error, it just ignored those rows and import the rest of them. This has made me wary of using import and I do several large imports every month that do not work the excel journal import.

  • @Sara Cressman Have you tried using the Blackbaud “Create Journal Entry Batch” tool in Excel? I found this tool a lot easier than how we used to import in database view.

  • @Mikayla Owens
That doesn't work for imports when using attributes.
