Capturing Dates and Changes with Dorm Data

I'm looking at two APIs to capture Dorm data changes. The Dorm API is what we're currently pulling down to our data warehouse but is missing the enroll and depart dates. It looks like to get to the two data points I need, I should also pull down the Dorm Rosters API. However, this doesn't capture the start and end date of the dorm leaders. It also doesn't include when someone is no longer part of the dorm. Which makes me question what's the point of the end date?

@Stephen Boyle can you clarify for me if this is accurate or do I miss something?
