What should I look for in a good Power BI training class?

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to take a Power BI training class but want to make sure I choose the right one. With so many options available, I’d love to hear your advice on what makes a course truly valuable.

What are the most important features or topics to look for? Should I prioritize hands-on projects, certification options, or instructor experience? Also, are there any red flags to avoid when selecting a course?

I’d really appreciate any recommendations or insights from those who have already taken a Power BI class! Thanks in advance.

If your intention is to become a certified power bi user, then taking these class will help you and there are specific courses they offer for that.

However, if you are seeking to specifically use Power BI for Blackbaud products, I think taking the Blackbaud University classes are better option, and you can so attend the in person Power BI workshop that is going around the country @Erik Leaver for more info.
