New portal Organization contacts

Is anyone else having an issue with home phone, primary phone not coming into BBGM from the new applications? I have tried modifying every phone number field and cannot get the field to work. Mobile phone does match but we often use primary and that does not.

  • @Maryann Jusino Yes, we are having the same issue. Out of 17 phone number fields, only one field pulls through into Grantmaking. It is very frustrating!

  • @Amanda Whyte Have you try use the Role-based Request Contact Tables for contacts (name, phone, mobile, email …etc)? The phone number, mobile number within the contact table seems to be working fine.

  • @Harrison FanYes, we are using the Role based contact tables. I added every phone number field it would let me, and only one (of 17) pulled into Grantmaking and it was not the primary phone number field. Also, because of the way the Contact Table columns are set up we ask for a phone number, email, birthdate (we deal with individuals, not orgs), then a second phone number. So it is very awkward. We just decided to go with one phone number for the time being, and relabeled the field we kept, but it is not ideal.

  • @Amanda Whyte Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this! It definitely sounds like a bug in the system. Hopefully, the Blackbaud team sees this post and can take a closer look. Fingers crossed it gets resolved soon!
