view only access user able to modify/delete reports

We are in the process of creating view-only access for our campus partners so they can monitor project activity specific to their department or college. While their roles are set to "view only," I’ve noticed that users are still able to modify or delete existing reports, even those outside their designated areas.

Has anyone successfully configured FENXT users to only view specific reports or data tied to their department or college?

If so, I’d greatly appreciate it if you could share the settings, roles, or permissions structure you used to make that possible. Any documentation or screenshots would also be helpful.

@Michele Aycock We use queries to limit which projects our OSU partners have access to. The number of queries that we have set up is quite extensive but essentially we have a query for each college at Oregon State that only allow access to project coded to that specific college. We assign the appropriate specific query to the OSU partner user based on where they work and are supporting. this is a big discussion, let me know if you want to connect off line. In regards to limitations around reporting all you can do, to my knowledge is check the box that does not allow others to modify reports as I have not seen any way to limit access in that area.
