Deleting test application submissions

We are doing extensive testing of our application programs before they go live to grantees, however it seems even when we delete the application from the grantee side, and delete the request in BBG the application records pops back into the “Pending Applications” tab…is anyone else experiencing this?

Same here! I just chatted with Blackbaud and they suggested cancelling the application on the applicant portal side and that didn't work either. Let me know if you find a solution. So frustrating!

This is from a support at BBGM on a case I created a while ago:

When requests tied to applications submitted in the new portal are deleted, the original application gets sent back to the pending submissions window, this is mentioned as working as designed by our product team.

For your test applications, if you'd like them removed from the Pending Submissions window, I would suggest that you send the applications back to the applicant for revision. Then, the applicant can click Manage Application > Cancel to cancel the application.

If I had pulled a test application into the system, I took the steps noted above, then opened the record in the database and deleted it there. That has worked for me.

Actually it took about 10 minutes but it disappeared.

Thank you Jen I will give this a try!
