We all have star power in our fingertips. With a simple click, we can rate anything.
We rate restaurants, products, and services. We rate movies, books, and art. Naturally, 5-star ratings are the gold standard, the pinnacle, the shiny promise that whatever it is, it’s outstanding and worthy of our attention.
What if things could be rated for us instead of by us? That’s where Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT comes in. Raiser’s Edge NXT automatically rates constituents based on overall wealth, donor type, and likelihood to take certain actions. We rely on ratings to inform our decisions and temper our expectations. Do we go to a 2-star restaurant? Maybe, but probably not for a special occasion. Do nonprofits ask a 2-star donor for a major gift? Probably not the best fundraising strategy.
