Want To Learn About Online Forms? Then Try This Webinar Out For Size!

Howdy, eTappers!  I'm Geoff Arbuckle and I'm the Onboarding and Adoption Program Manager for the eTapestry product.  I just wanted to take a few mintues to talk about one of the Success Webinars I conduct so you can be aware that these types of resources are out there for you.


When it comes to fundraising in the 21st century, it is becoming more and more necessary to have an online presence.  In all my time with eTapestry, we've always touted the benefits of having a way for your supporters to donate whenever they wish.  Online Forms also provide the ability for you to create an outlet to raise money with little to no cost for upkeep.  With the popularity of websites and social media, it's hard to argue that having this online presence could ultimately mean big bucks for your organization!


If your organization is new to eTapestry, or you, yourself, are new to an organization that uses eTapestry, we have a great webinar that is free for you to sign up for and can help you learn about how to create an Online Form to gather donations or contact information from constituents.  Additionally, the webinar also includes some best practices to think about to create successful forms.  Here's a general breakdown of what I cover with you in the webinar:
  • First, we start with a general Overview of Online Forms.  This also includes discussion of the basic steps of creating a form and how you can create a page that will match the look and feel of your website as a whole to keep your online visitors' minds at ease that they are still on your website and making a donation directly to the organization.
  • Second, we go into the steps of how to create a Contact Form.  This form is used to gather contact information about potential donors who may wish to receive regular communications from the organization.
  • Third, we layout the steps for creating the most popular type of Online Form - an Online Donation Form.  As the name of the form suggests, this is a page you can create to collect one time OR recurring gifts.
Sounds like a pretty good use of an hour, doesn't it?  I thought you might think so too.  Even better, I close out the hour by hopping over into my own database to give you a live demo of how to add additional fields to the form, how to adjust some settings, and more!
