It’s Almost Time!  The New Mass Interactions functionality release is so close you can almost see it in your system right now.  We have been working hard to ensure a smooth transition, so you don’t lose one moment of productivity while using eTapestry.  This coming weekend, after the release has been put into production, we will start migrating your current Mass Communications to the new Mass Interactions tab. 

 
You can imagine with all  the customers we have, that this is no small feat.  But don’t worry, because we have taken every precaution to make sure that:

 
1) Your data arrives safely in its new location.

 
2) You can continue to use the eTapestry system as you do every day.

 
We will be performing this migration during off hours, so that it will not cause downtime. However, you may see an “Item currently in use” message in eTapestry if you try to view or save a record while the migration is running.  If you would happen to see that message, wait a few minutes and try viewing or saving the record again. 

 
There is also a chance that while you may see the new Mass Interactions area, nothing appears there for you right away.  Again, no need to worry!  Once the migration has been run on your database, that data will show up in its new home safe and sound.  In the meantime, just keep using eTapestry as you do every day, even using the new Mass Interactions functionality before the migration runs on your database without any issue.  We have even saved select databases for the weekend after our initial 7.40.0 release in order to minimize impact.

 
Oh, and one last note: After the release, you may notice that you will be able to use your Blackbaud.com Login ID and Password to access eTapestry.  If you don’t have a Blackbaud.com ID and Password, or you have one and can’t remember it, then make sure to get one set up or get that reset so that you too can start using it to access eTapestry.  Using your Blackbaud ID to log in to eTapestry makes it easier to access your database.  Now you’ll only have one login ID and password to remember!
