What goals are you setting for your organization this year? Take a moment to think about the goals you set last year. Were these good goals? Did you meet every goal you set? This year, let’s resolve to set goals we can stick with to make a positive impact at our organizations.

How can we set better goals? It starts with careful planning.

This is a great time of year for social good organizations to think about their goals and how they will show impact in 2020. For successful philanthropy that makes a high impact, your organization will need these four things:

1. Outcome-based goals
2. Defined focus areas
3. Organizational collaboration
4. An emphasis on learning
