Organization Records - Gifts, Complex Dedupe, Integration, And More

Organizations are now first class entities in Luminate Online. So what exactly does that mean in terms of functionality?

 •    Organization Gifts: Luminate Online now includes functionality that allows you to record gifts on an organization record. This will vastly improve reporting functionality for organizations and allow you to group and segment your organization contact types. (Note: Contact your Customer Support Manager (CSM) to inquire about having the Organization Gifts feature enabled. Once Organizational Gifts are enabled, they cannot be disabled. Organization Gifts do not support recurring donations, which includes flexible sustaining and installment donations, premiums or matching gifts.)

• Dedupe: You can now merge duplicate organization records in TeamRaiser, but we will not merge any client-created workarounds that may be in place. We will issue advice through our community on how to handle workarounds for storing organization info that you may be using.
• Integrations: We understand that having a unified view of constituents – individuals and organizations alike – is important. To that end, we’re building upon the foundation we’ve developed in Luminate Online toward integrated soltuions for today, and a reality beyond integration with Blackbaud’s new SKY capabilities for the future. AS we build out functionality in Luminate Online, we will continue to advance integrations to our major CRM platforms (Raiser’s Edge, Luminate CRM, and Blackbaud CRM).
• MultiCenter: We will have hierarchies in place which will enable functionality to determine which users can access contacts in certain organizations. Organizations though will span across centers so we prevent duplicates. There is more to come on this area!
