Now, we'll share with you the newest features released in the new SKY view of Blackbaud Grantmaking. Please see below for a copy of the release notes and click on the link to see all past release notes.

New Features

Blueprint forms

  • Generate report for any Blueprint form: You can now select Generate report on any Blueprint form to open the report for that form.

Dashboards

  • Dashboard remembers parts layout: Your dashboard now remembers the layout of your dashboard parts for the next time you log in.

Payments

  • A/P Export to Great Plains now available in SKY view: A/P Export to Great Plains file format in now supported in SKY view.

Records

  • Related records now update in real-time: After you generate Payments, the Related records now refreshes to show updated results.

  • Related records results mirror Search results format: We updated the look and functionality of Related records to match Search results. For example, if you're viewing a Payment, Review, Activity, Requirement, or Organization record and you select a Related record in the left pane, you will now see a search-results-style grid with the same type Actions.

  • Long-text fields are now more visible: Long-text fields on records now wrap to two lines, making it more visible and easier to read without having to click into or manually expand the field.

Reports

  • Filter aggregate columns on reports: When you Edit an Ad Hoc report, select View settings then filter data based on aggregated Columns, the selected filters now appear on the View settings screen.

    Similarly, when you select Generate report, filters currently applied to the data appear as selected filters. To change them, select Modify filters.

Fixes and improvements

Activities

  • Type drop-down menu showing all Activity types: Previously, there was an issue where, when adding a new Activity, the Type drop-down would show all Activity types instead of only ones that can be selected. This issue was fixed, and all items in the Type drop-down display correctly.

  • Start Time not saving correctly: Fixed an issue where the entered Start time on an Activity was not saving correctly.

Dashboards

  • Online Applications and Reporting dashboard part missing: We fixed an issue where the Online Applications and Reporting dashboard part was missing for some users.

  • Can't modify a dashboard part from within Manage Dashboards: We fixed an issue where users couldn't modify a dashboard part from within Manage Dashboards for a part where the search returned no results.

  • Admins can't modify Board Member dashboards: We fixed an issue where Admins couldn't modify dashboard parts for Board Member-level users.

Records

  • Correct number of related affiliations appears when adding new primary contact: Now, when a user adds a new primary contact to an organization or request, the count of related affiliations is updated to show the latest number.

  • Drop-down menus not populating with values: We fixed an issue where drop-down menus were not populating with values that users could select.

  • Payment contingencies not being removed after updating the Requirement: We fixed an issue where the contingent payment status was not updating after manually adding a Done date to the Requirement.

Reports

  • Generate standard reports by double-clicking: Previously, if a user double-clicked a standard report an "Unexpected error occurred while fetching report details." Now, a prompt to Generate report appears instead.

  • Application forms load selected site: Previously, if a user attempted to run an application report, the forms for the default site appeared, even when the client selected the secondary site. This is fixed.

Requests

  • Declination reason not saving: We fixed an issue where, when declining a Request, the declination reason was not saving correctly.

  • Declining a Request does not automatically refresh record: We fixed an issue where, when declining a Request, the record would not automatically refresh as a declined record.

  • After editing Coding fields, the page scrolls to the top: We fixed an issue where, after editing a field in Coding and then closing the modal, the page would scroll back up to the top.

  • Coding sheet not sorted alphabetically when updating codes in batch: We fixed an issue where, when updating Coding sheets in batch, the code values were not sorted alphabetically.

  • Not able to update Percentage in Coding: We fixed an issue that would not let users adjust the Percentage value in Coding.

Reviews

  • Unwarranted error message when creating Reviews: We fixed an issue where users would receive an unwarranted error message when creating Reviews.
