Help at Your Fingertips Inside (and Out) of Raiser's Edge NXT!
** Bumping up this post as the Raiser's Edge NXT Community has grown with many new users over the past few months! If you have questions (such as "How do I mark actions as complete?"... "What do the starred wealth ratings mean?"... "How do I set up Work Center for fundraisers?"... "How to invite new users in Raiser's Edge NXT?"... and so on), you have answers right at your fingertips! **
It's human to ask questions and want to learn. To that end, the Raiser's Edge NXT Community is a great way to connect with and learn from people at Blackbaud and peers at other nonprofits alike. But while the Community is valuable in figuring out questions and discovering best practices, you may not always have the time to engage in a lively discussion with others to find those answers. We get it. It's not that you're anti-social, just pressed for time. For those quick answers, Raiser's Edge NXT provides some great self-help resources, readily available both in and out of the application!
In-app Help. When working in Raiser's Edge NXT, you may have questions or be curious about how to best do something, how a feature or datapoint helps your mission, any general recommendations, and so on. If a question should arise, simply click the ? in the upper right of the screen for content and best practices based on what you're working with at the time, in context of the application so you can continue to work and refer to the Help side-by-side. (You can also undock the Help to move it around, should it cover up where you're working.) As you read the Help, expand or collapse sections to help focus on only what content pertains to your question. For additional content or answers, you can search the Help or easily access other resources such as the Community or Support.

How-to page. You can also refer to the Help content outside of Raiser's Edge NXT — such as before you log in or to share with others at your organization getting ready to use the application for the first time — from the Raiser's Edge NXT How-to page. In addition to the Help content, you have easy access to other resources, including videos and a high-level Getting Started PDF ideal for those looking to familiarize themselves with Raiser's Edge NXT.
