What's Next: Upcoming Features for Raiser's Edge NXT

This week, Raiser's Edge NXT updates with some minor tweaks to improve performance and appearance, but no new features or enhancements you should really notice. We recommend you take this week to continue to familiarize yourself with some of the recent additions to the web interface — such as tags, the Overview in Work Center, and the ability to track constituent memberships and volunteerism — and enjoy this sneak peek at exciting features in the works for future releases (some sooner than others).

 

Gift records. In Work Center and from a constituent's record, you can already manage lists of giving and view details about a gift. Soon, you'll be able to drill into an amount to focus on a specific gift and view detailed information — such as about its soft credits, acknowledgement letter, campaigns, funds, and much more — in a single, easy-to-browse page similar to the record of a constituent or proposal. All the fine details of a donor's contribution to your organization, at your fingertips!



Lists. Work Center provides lists of a fundraiser's assigned constituent relationships and related items such as gifts and actions, and you can easily access lists of a constituent's gifts and proposals from their record. But what if you could save and manage lists — such as to refine recipients for a mailing or analyze donors for a specific campaign — and share them with others, all from one location and without any complex query computations? On the way, in a future release!



Prospect status timeline. With Prospect Research Management, you can easily view where a constituent is in your organization's solicitation process, with their status at the top of their record and under Prospect research. But often the prospect's current standing isn't as important to understand as their journey. For additional insight into the relationship and their engagement, you'll soon be able to also view — at a glance — where the prospect's been in your solicitation process and how long they took at each stage. 



Those are just a few of the new features currently under development for Raiser's Edge NXT. With its frequent releases, you'll be able to enjoy these (and other) features as soon as they come online!
