Analyze: On the Roadmap for Raiser's Edge NXT

Hopefully everyone at BBCON is enjoying the opportunity to learn new information, share knowledge, and chat with like-minded peers! If you couldn't make it to Austin, perhaps you — like myself — followed all the festivities on Twitter (#bbcon). If so, chances are good you caught a glimpse of some of the features in the works for Raiser's Edge NXT. One such feature to blow up my Twitter feed? The upcoming analytics functionality (aka Analyze)! So for all of you excited for this feature (regardless of whether you made it to BBCON), a deeper dive and sneak peek of what it's all about.

 

With Analyze, you'll have instant access to a range of metrics to help gauge your overall fundraising efforts. With easy-to-consume visual graphs, charts, and lists, these metrics help eliminate guesswork and the need for complicated reporting.



Like the dashboard of your car, these gauges and indicators help you track — at a glance — a wide range of fundraising efforts, including:

• Donor acquisition and retention
• Giving received
• Donor demographics
• Progress of actions and — with Prospect Research Management — proposals
• Effectiveness of campaigns, funds, and appeals
• And much more to come!

Similar to Overview in Work Center, you can use Analyze to quickly identify trends (both positive and negative) and prioritize your daily activity. With a wide range of focus — from the fundraising performance of your overall organization to a specifc fund or campaign — these metrics are ideal for everyone, from Directors to Fundraisers.



Keep in mind, Analyze is soon to enter a Beta phase, with a wider rollout planned for 2016. In the meantime, we recommend you start to prepare your data to get the most of these analytics.
