Nonprofit Intelligence: Analyzing Your Fundraising Efforts

With the new Nonprofit Intelligence, you — and others at your organization, such as directors and fundraisers — can quickly and easily track and analyze your overall fundraising efforts. Nonprofit Intelligence provides a series of insightful dashboards and metrics, which you can use to:

• Discover fundraising gaps and opportunities
• Act on insights to drive results
• Share knowledge across your organization

To help minimize impact, Nonprofit Intelligence will release in waves — following some learning with early adopters — to every organization using Raiser's Edge NXT (including yours)! Blackbaud will notify your organization when it becomes available to you. And when it does (if it hasn't already!), here are some of the features you can expect.

 
The main feature of Nonprofit Intelligence is a new Analyze area, with insight into your organization's overall fundraising effectiveness. In addition, Nonprofit Intelligence enables detailed records of individual campaigns, funds, and appeals, complete with metrics to help track and compare the effectiveness of your fundraising efforts. With these metrics, you have rich, easy-to-consume analysis and visualization of:

• Your fundraising efforts, including your top-grossing campaigns, funds, and appeals
• Which constituent codes and demographics of donors make up your top supporters
• High-value, as well as past due and upcoming, interactions to drive constituent relationships
• With Prospect Research Management, the proposal efforts to culitvate donor relationships and major gift opportunities

Once you have Nonprofit Intelligence, you'll find additional insight in the Help, complete with synopses of each metric and detailed information about:

• When and why to use each metric
• Explanation of the number-crunching
• Best practices and recommendations to help keep things on track
• Suggestions on how to rebound should things take a downward trend

As with other features in Raiser's Edge NXT, Nonprofit Intelligence will continue to evolve, with the ability to analyze committed and projected revenue — in addition to cash-in-hand "received" revenue — in the future.
