This week, Raiser’s Edge NXT updated with an exciting enhancement that will eliminate a frustration many voiced about searching for constituents. 

 

To help find a record when there are similar –

or more than eight – matches for the criteria you enter in the Search for a constituent field, you can now select View all results for detailed search results. The detailed results include additional information for each constituent – such as alias and former name – to help distinguish which to select. To ensure there’s no negative impact to performance – and because the search functionality is intended to help you locate a specific constituent rather than a large group of constituents – these results only include up to 1,000 matches. If you initially cast a wide net to find someone, don’t worry. You can use another search field from the results to further refine them. 

In future releases, you’ll be able to use additional options to search and also search for contacts who aren’t constituents. Stay tuned!
