What's New in Raiser's Edge NXT the Week of May 3
This week, Raiser's Edge NXT updates with an assortment of new features and enhancements in Lists and Work Center and across constituents, gifts, and proposals opportunities.
Proposals are now opportunities. With Prospect Research Management, you can plan and track your efforts to cultivate donor relationships and secure major gifts. To better reflect all the work — the identification, research, planning, and so on — that leads up to the ask, you now manage these efforts as opportunities throughout Raiser's Edge NXT. Previously — and still, in the database view — you tracked them as proposals. For more information, see the Opportunities Help.
Easily view important recurring gift details. Recurring gifts are commitments to donate at regular intervals, such as through automatic monthly payments of $50. To help track the payment activity of a recurring gift, you can now easily view important details — such as how much the donor paid, how many consecutive payments they made, and how many payments failed to process — under Recurring gift summary on its record, above other summary information. View how much Gift Aid a gift's campaigns and funds receive. In the UK, Gift Aid is a government incentive that enables donors to donate the tax amount of their gifts as additional giving to you. On a gift's record, you can now view how much you receive from Gift Aid for each of its campaigns and funds in the Tax claim field under Fundraising details.
Start with new or saved lists in Lists. To ease the reuse of saved list filters, you can now choose whether to start from scratch or open a saved list and its filters when you create a list.
Avoid new assignments for inactive fundraisers. To help cultivate relationships with donors and prospects, inactive fundraisers no longer appear when you search for who should manage a relationship, such as in a list of constituents or under Assigned fundraisers on a constituent's record. View constituents' initials or profile pictures in Work Center. To help personalize upcoming interactions (or those you should consider), you can now view a constituent's initials or profile picture — such as a headshot, logo, or other image — when they appear under Needs attention in Work Center.
