This week, Raiser's Edge NXT introduces a new field for event participant records. Also, a change for organization admins is now available.Manage summary notes for event participants


To help you quickly learn important details about a participant, such as whether they're a major donor or a VIP, you can now pin a note to the top of their record.

From Events, open an event record. Under Participants, select Work with participants and select the participant’s name from the list. To pin a new summary note to their record, select Add summary note, enter the summary details, and select Save.

Note: To edit or delete the note, select Edit , revise as necessary, and select Save or select Delete and confirm you want to remove it.

Tip: To view notes in the participant list, select Columns and include Summary note.

Add environment admins


Environment admins have full access to all of your organization’s solutions and are necessary if you use solutions in addition to Raiser’s Edge NXT, such as Sky API or Financial Edge NXT. Organization admins, who manage your organization’s profile and other tasks on Blackbaud’s website, can now grant environment admin rights to themselves or invite other users to become environment admins. Previously, organization admins had to contact Support for access. For more information, see Environments.
