Zoom In To Constituent Records In Portfolio, Zoom Out For Work Center

When my husband and I head out of town, one of our biggest decisions is where to stay. We typically stick to the same hotel chain, so we’re able to narrow down our choices pretty quickly. We then enter the hotel address into a map and zoom in to the area for the “street view,” which lets us see what amenities are in the immediate vicinity. We look for restaurants, convenience stores, places to visit, and public transportation. If there aren’t many options nearby, we zoom out the map, to see if our options open up. We typically choose to stay where we have the most possibilities for enjoyment.

Blackbaud University previously offered a Raiser’s Edge NXT Fundamentals class which zoomed in to focus on creating a fundraiser’s Portfolio. We’ve revised the class to offer a zoomed-out version to view the entire Work Center. Zooming out enables you to see all of the features available within a Work Center, such as which constituents need immediate attention.

Knowing how precious time is for everyone, and how important constituent records are to your organization, we’re also offering an updated (and shortened!) 90-minute Constituent Updates class. Understanding how and what to update in Raiser’s Edge NXT to reflect your constituents’ life changes will make checking in with your portfolio a breeze.
