S-U-C-C-E-S-S! That’s The Way We Spell Success!

“Before anything else, preparation is the key to success.” – Alexander Graham Bell

Organizing for your year-end tasks does not have to be overwhelming. Planning and making sure you have the elements you need will let you close out your year, whether fiscal or calendar, successfully.

In our updated Preparing for Year-End course, we discuss gathering information for your annual reports, coordinating data with your finance organization to prepare for annual audits, and setting up your database for another successful year. We also work through exercises to generate donor statements, both in database view and web view.

Here’s a tip from class: After preparing your annual report, ensure that your process is well documented. While it may be advantageous to take each year as an opportunity to streamline your processes, knowing what information you need to gather will help with efficiency.
