Take time to think strategically?

Yeah right! In a world driven by constant “pivots”, shifting short-term goals, and non-stop deadlines it can be hard to make time for strategic planning.

Beyond today’s productivity constraints, strategic planning for tomorrow and beyond requires calculating for the uncertainty of what might emerge. And future planning doesn’t provide the tangible and immediate gratification of knocking tasks off today’s to-do list.
But I invite you to challenge yourself to take time to review a particular set of resources – and dare to imagine your “future state” – where you automate repetitive processes, turn reporting tasks into insightful analyses, and find ways to integrate separate technologies.
