New In Prospect Insights: Portfolio Quality Metrics
Earlier this year, we released Prospect Insights - an available add-on for Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT® customers in the United States that provides simple, prescriptive prioritizations and recommendations for major gift fundraising based on multi-dimensional constituent insights and cutting-edge artificial intelligence capabilities. Now we’re excited to announce that the first of several planned enhancements for this tool is now live.
Customers who own Prospect Insights will see a new tile on the home page: Portfolio quality. This tile uses data visualization to help you understand the quality of your organization’s major gift portfolios, as defined by the percentage of assigned prospects with high major giving potential.
Beginning with September 30th for existing customers (or on the date Prospect Insights is enabled for new customers), Prospect Insights will take a snapshot of your portfolio quality and display it on the homepage, for you to use as a baseline:
Going forward, Prospect Insights will take another snapshot of portfolio quality each month. Once multiple snapshots have been taken, you will see portfolio quality visualized on a monthly basis with up to 12 months of historical data:
Fundraisers will see the quality of their portfolio (constituents to whom they are assigned as a fundraiser) while users with Director permissions will see data based on all assigned constituents by default. These users can then use the “Filter” dropdown to view the quality of one or more specific fundraiser portfolios.
We’re excited about this enhancement which makes it that much easier for fundraisers to understand the quality of their major gift portfolios over time and identify those in need of attention. The product team is currently working on additional metrics visualizations that we hope to roll out within Prospect Insights, including pipeline and direct financial impact.
