What's New In Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT® — October 22nd, 2024

Here are the latest changes in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT for October 22nd, 2024.
  • Add capacity limits to event fees
  • Delete lists owned by other users
  • Set fundraiser assignment end dates in Prospect Insights and Prospect Insights Pro
  • Filter for active fundraisers in Prospect Insights and Prospect Insights Pro
Add capacity limits to event fees

To improve capacity limit customization, you can now add a capacity limit to each event fee. For example, if your organization offers one Gold Level Sponsorship for an event, after the associated fee is purchased, it is labeled “Sold out.”

Note: Fee capacity limits replace form capacity limits.

For more information, see Fees.

Delete lists owned by other users

To help you manage lists, users with Supervisor rights in database view can now delete other users’ lists marked “View-only.” For example, when a user leaves an organization, Supervisor users are able to clean up any lists that are no longer needed. To remove a saved list you no longer need, open it in Lists and select Delete.

Note: In a constituent list, select More, Delete.

Previously, others could view a user’s lists, but not edit them. For more information, see Lists.

Set fundraiser assignment end dates in Prospect Insights and Prospect Insights Pro

To help fundraisers manage their prospect relationships, you can now enter a fundraising assignment end date from a prospect's record.

Filter for active fundraisers in Prospect Insights and Prospect Insights Pro

To make the list of fundraisers available from the Fundraiser filter more manageable, the filter now only displays active fundraisers. However, you can still view all fundraisers, including those whose constituent record is marked inactive, by selecting the Show inactive option.

@Alyssa Maslankowski This is exciting to be able to delete lists owned by other users. I just added this to my board of wish list items on Friday. Can admins also view lists created by others and delete those too like we can with queries in the database view?

Hey, Elizabeth! This update allows users with Supervisor rights in database view to be able to delete other users' lists in web view.

For more clarity, lists can be marked private, others can view, and others can view and modify. Any user could delete lists marked others can view and modify. With this change, a Supervisor can now delete a list created by someone else if the list is marked others can view. Previously, they could only view it.

Lists marked private are still not viewable to anyone but the user who created them and cannot be deleted by anyone but that user.
