What is the process for updating The Education Edge to version 7.87 patch 3 when integrating with The Raiser's Edge?

As we've discussed in previous blogs, patch 3 for version 7.87 of The Education Edge includes important updates if your EE database is integrated with The Raiser's Edge.


If Blackbaud hosts your data, The Education Edge will be updated on February 5th and The Raiser's Edge will be updated to version 7.94 on February 8th.


If Blackbaud does not host your data, the EE and RE updates will be available for download from Blackbaud.com on February 9th.

Note: It is important that you apply The Education Edge patch before you update The Raiser's Edge.


1. Run synchronization to ensure all information is up to date.

2. Update The Education Edge to 7.87, patch 3.

3. Update the Raiser's Edge to 7.94.

4. In The Raiser's Edge, review your data and remove duplicate contact types.

5. In The Education Edge, open the Integration linking grid.

6. Run synchronization.

7. Review the Integration Activity Report.
