What’s New: K12 Product Updates For November 15

We’re deep into November and the latest update for the K12 “ON” Products has arrived. Update 12.12 brings with it plenty of new content, enhancements, and fixes for Core, onBoard, onRecord, and the Smart Tuition integration as well. Here’s a look at some of the features coming this month!We’re deep into November and the latest update for the K12 “ON” Products has arrived. Update 12.12 brings with it plenty of new content, enhancements, and fixes for Core, onBoard, onRecord, and the Smart Tuition integration as well.


Here’s a look at some of the features coming this month:

onBoard: Make contract payments offline with In-School Payments. One of our most requested features is finally here! Enrollment managers can enable In-School Payments with onBoard contracts to allow families to make payments on deposits or enrollment fees offline.

This setting can be found inside Deposit Block Settings from onBoard > Settings > Contract Forms. The text that appears for end users can also be completely customized to provide users with instructions on what to do, or additional information as needed.

onBoard: Confirm contract sections with signer acknowledge. Need a way to ensure parents agree to contract terms? Adding the Signer Acknowledge block to onBoard or Smart Tuition enabled contracts is the answer. With this tool, managers can verify that a signer has looked over that page of the contract, as they'll need to add their initials before the next page can be loaded.

onRecord: Verify Course Requests With Prerequisite Checks. With prerequisite checks, onRecord now checks to confirm that students have met the requirements in order to select a course.

The student course request page now provides added details for students if they don’t meet a particular requirement for a course including missing a specific grade, credit, or enrollment requirement from a different course.
