ELearning For The “ON” Products

Blackbaud University will make history this summer by launching a series of eLearning courses exclusively for our “ON” Products customers. While the significance of new eLearning courses pales in comparison to man walking on the moon or the Berlin wall falling, it is still something that will alter your day-to-day work life.

Each of our eLearning courses supplies you with interactive, content rich material to enhance how you and your colleagues function in the “ON” Products. You’ll discover software tips and best practices in an on-demand environment. And each course allows you to view demonstrations, discuss best practices, and test your knowledge.

Blackbaud University offers eLearning through Training Central, the hub for all our world-class training. With your Blackbaud.com login you can find all the latest instructor-led classes and eLearning in Training Central. To prepare for the summer launch of eLearning, make sure you can log in to Training Central and meet the minimum requirements for viewing our eLearning.

Blackbaud University eLearning will be available to all current subscribers of the “ON” Products.

At Blackbaud University we are excited to offer on-demand classes to your school. The ability to watch and re-watch courses will historically change the way your school learns and uses the “ON” Products.

Hello Keeley, this is indeed great news !  However, from a security standpoint, I am a bit concerned that you still rely on Adobe Flash, a technology that is known for having security breaches and is going to be retired by Adobe (see here https://theblog.adobe.com/adobe-flash-update/) in the near future.   Are you planning on switching to another platform/technology ? Thank you.

We do not have a specific release date just yet, but as soon as we have more information, we will add another blog post with all of the details. Make sure you are subscribed to this blog so you can receive an email notification and stay up-to-date!

Blackbaud University offers “Basics of” eLearnings (for example, “Raiser’s Edge: Basics of Mail”). The eLearnings for the “ON” Products will be similar in nature. Also keep an eye on the “ON” Products instructor-led curriculum, as we continue to add more outcome-based and solution workshop offerings.

Also, thank you for sharing your concern about Adobe Flash. We are aware that flash will be retired in the future; however, our LMS and course development tools currently require flash. Both tools will adapt to the retirement, and we anticipate to do the same in the future.
