Core: A 2018 Retrospective

Welcome to 2019! Although we have lots of great work planned for this year, we're going to take a look back to highlight a few huge end-of-the-year wins that the Core team got in place late last year.

Sky Reporting

We know having timely and accurate data is important for decision-making, so we improved the performance of our SKY Reporting dashboards; report data now updates hourly! And, as always, a time stamp on the report allows you to track update times.

User Lists

Working with lists just got a whole lot easier! First, all lists now save your filter, column, and page settings, so if you navigate away from the list, when you return your settings remain intact. Second, we added a flyout panel to User List, allowing you to select and preview a constituent record without leaving the list page. In addition, you can edit and save changes to the record from the flyout panel or opt to open the full record. This makes navigating through and working in lists fast and easy.



People Finder

People finder keeps getting better! The big news for mobile users is that they can now access and use the search. You can use this in Academics, Enrollment Management, or Core to quickly locate user records while working from your phone or tablet. Within people finder we also improved Search. You can now search on name, Student ID, Host ID, User ID, or email, helping you to locate the correct individual quickly and accurately.  These improvements moves us closer to our goal of removing the need for the Edit User Profile Data feature (Core, Edit User Profile Data) and providing you an improved and streamlined experience when working in the application.
