First Impressions Matter

When her child turned 4, Hannah called the best school in town to ask about kindergarten enrollment. Hannah was left on hold for 15 minutes until the admissions director could take the call. The director told Hannah to visit the school’s website for information, and if Hannah were still interested she could fill out an inquiry form online. The director apologized but said he didn’t know how to help unless Hannah completed the inquiry form.

Hannah was actually interested in touring the school and asking questions in person, not in filling out forms online. She realized maybe this school wasn’t the best school in town after all. Disappointed, Hannah began to open her mind to other school options.
