Out with the Old, In with the New: Financial Aid Awards List

User experience matters! Today we’re taking a look at how Financial Aid Awards is changing for the better, moving off of our old look and feel to a fresh and modern style.For you longtime users, the Education management products have really come a long way from their early days. There’s a ton we could talk about here, but I’m specifically referencing the user interface and how over the years, we’ve utilized SkyUX to really modernize various elements in each of the products.

The best example of these modernizations is with our Lists. Today, we have a new member joining the family of SkyUX empowered lists. Thanks to a recent update to Blackbaud’s Education management products, the Financial Aid Awards list now looks more modern than you may have remembered. Let’s take a closer look.

So, if you are an admissions or reenrollment manager, you’ll see that we’ve updated the Financial Aid Awards list to align it with other areas like the Candidates list or Visits & interview openings list. The new experience can be accessed through Enrollment management, Financial Aid, and then Financial Aid Awards.

Of course, you have all of the expected features that come with SkyUX style lists. This includes standard features like a search bar, filter system, and selectable columns to better customize the data that is being displayed. The information will be easier to view, listing out all relevant options instead of first selecting numerous filters and seeing your options from a smaller grid style view.
