Hello favorite Community! I’m back from San Diego after finishing my first professional presentation. While I’ve done public speaking before, it was my first community management subject matter expert presentation.

I make that distinction since I figure being a zombie subject matter expert doesn’t count for your career. What a shame.

Even now a part of my brain keeps going “Wait, you’re talking about me? That's not right.” Yet last week showed me that I can confidently and concisely discuss community management.

Also, subject matter expert aligns with my initials – SME. Coincidence? I think not.

Each of you here in the Community is also a subject matter expert – whether it’s queries, reports, or payroll. Keep sharing with your fellow members and become a leader. Who knows - maybe you’ll find yourself speaking at bbcon!

Hi! When trying to look at some of the training central resources shown on the web view and database view comparison chart, I just receive a you cannot access these resources message. I'm logging in from Australia. Could that be the issue? It would be great to be able to view these. Thanks, Chris

I could say I'm an expert in asking too many questions (once had a supervisor say he should hire someone just to field my questions). But I usually find that when I don't ask, something goes wrong. =)

However, I think Jen just gave me a new life goal. Ask all the questions! I wonder what my manager would do with that one. I'll give it a whirl this week.
