The time is here! We celebrated Thanksgiving over a week ago, holiday tunes are on the radio, you raised a record $62.6 million on #GivingTuesday, and right now, you’re entering the biggest giving month of the year!


According to Blackbaud’s 2017 Charitable Giving Report, non-profits received 20% of their online gifts during the month of December. And—if you’re in the Higher Education, Faith-based, or the Public and Society Benefit sectors—this number is even higher!

Did you know there is a quick and easy way to create this type of experience in Net Community? Our Mini Donation Form is designed to help your organization capture quick donations with a fast, simple, secure, and automatically mobile responsive donor experience. You can use the Mini Donation Form for a specific campaign or even in place of a longer donation form. 


The mini donation form also represents the first NetCommunity part to use the Blackbaud Checkout experience. Blackbaud Checkout provides a superior donor experience while still utilizing a Blackbaud-hosted secure page to collect payment information, even for clients who host their own NetCommunity site. Blackbaud Checkout also gives customers who use Blackbaud Merchant Services additional wallet features of Visa Checkout, Masterpass, and eventually Apple Pay.


The mini form is also the foundation for a new full-featured donation form that we’ll be building out over time to continue to provide this modern, streamlined experience for your donors. Here’s a great example of the Mini Donation Form from the College of Charleston

With the new Service Pack 4 Release last month, we’ve also added some enhancements to the Mini Donation Form to allow you to capture even more information like attributes, class year, and communication consent preferences.
