The Payments API enables users to accept and manage payments using Blackbaud Merchant Services.To clarify usage of the authorize_only parameter and ensure all requests are valid, we updated the POST Transaction endpoint. This field applies to card payments only. When the field is used for direct debit payments, the caller receives a 400 Bad Request response with the error message: “Direct debit transactions do not support the authorize_only parameter.”
