Changes to the Payments API

The Payments API enables users to accept and manage payments using Blackbaud Merchant Services.For easier reconciliation with external applications, we added the PayPalReferenceID field to the TransactionRead object, as well as the PayPalFundingSource field to the CreditCardRead object.



Note: While several endpoints use the TransactionRead object, the PayPalReferenceID and PayPalFundingSource fields are only applicable when you use GET Checkout transaction or POST Checkout transaction.
