Tips and Tricks for a Successful Contract Season: Part 2

Contract season is here! To help try and make this one the best yet, we’ve put together the next set of tips and tricks to help you better communicate with families during this time.Happy Contract Season Enrollment management schools! By now, many of you are deep in the thick of things, so we’re hoping part 2 of our Contract Season series will come in handy.
In case you missed it, last November we kicked off this multi-part series centered on contracts and hopefully providing some tips and tricks to help you navigate successfully. Part 1 centered on setup and preparation as well as things to double check.
Today, we’re looking at the meat and potatoes of Contract season including data validation as well as communication to families.
Communication
For this time of the Contract Season process, communication is key. It’s important to effectively communicate things like what families should know, what they should avoid, and any other gotchas that may trip them up as they move through the Contract process.
In addition, make sure to not only set deadlines and communicate them to your families, but also make sure to set expectations for what happens if contracts are not returned at that date. Reach out to your responsible signers and let them know what they will be expected to complete and by when. Again, Notifications or PushPages are a great way to keep the lines of communication open.
Data Validation
As we mentioned in part 1 of this Contract series, data can be a stumbling block, especially information that is overlooked or incorrectly listed. Continue to verify your data and information. If anything has changed in the meantime, make sure they are reported so the incorrect our outdated information can be updated as soon as possible.
Certain fields should be prioritized for validation, especially ones that could have potentially changed after initial setup including:
