Check out these Dashboard and Workspace updates!...

Blackbaud Grantmaking SKY view brings the powerful core of Blackbaud Grantmaking onto a user interface that enables access to anywhere and any device. Just as with Blackbaud Grantmaking Classic View, there are three key pages that make up the structure of the solution: the Dashboard, the Workspace and the Detail page.


This post focuses on updated features recently released to the Dashboard and Workspace. These new features are in addition to the already existing functionality.

Dashboards:

  • Create and edit dashboard parts within a dashboard tab: Chart-type dashboard parts are now supported.

  • (The remaining dashboard parts which cannot yet be edited in SKY View are: Link List, Image, Note, and Budget Summary. These are not added frequently and will come later.)

This video (No sound, 3 min.) shows a chart being created on the dashboard, plus how to create a horizontal double-bar chart, drill into result and capture for sharing.

Workspace (Search, Records, and Actions):

  • Data load speed: Search results tabs now load even faster, when switching between tabs in the workspace.

  • Merge to PDF: Documents can now be merged together to create a clean PDF in any order determined by the Blackbaud Grantmaking user. Video (no sound, 1min)

  • Clean-up: Fixed a bug that prevented users from deleting records.
