See how your data can flow between Classic View and SKY View, and what’s new with the

Control Panel too!

In this update, we'll show you how information flows in real time between the new, SKY View of Blackbaud Grantmaking and Classic view. Watch this video (02:39, no audio) to see Information Sharing of both the new and Classic views. You will see each system side-by-side as the chart dashboards are drilled into, views are changed, views are saved, and the dashboard is rearranged. You will also see these actions performed in one system, and then reflected in the other. While developments are quickly being released into the Blackbaud Grantmaking SKY View, we know that many customers will prefer to switch back and forth between both views. This video to see just how easy it is to do that.

Now, let’s dive in and take a look at some of the recent developments. We are going to focus on the Control Panel. For those of you who are used to the Classic view, the Control Panel now has all of the administrative features that an advanced user will need to customize the system, and perform functions only needed by users at the Client Administrator, Grants Manager, or Grant Associate level. Watch this video (02:00 min, no audio) to see the current feature availability in the Control Panel.

New-release features specifically related to the Control Panel since November 2020 include:

  • Applications: Transfer account - customers can now transfer an entire grantee account to another grantee's email address from this menu.

  • Dashboards: Manage Dashboards now available. Admin users can edit other users' dashboards and copy dashboards from one user to another.

Existing features include:

  • Preferences: Link to Outlook, Login display, Reminders, Requests, Salutations

  • Organization: Watchlist settings and Tax status lookup

  • Reviews: Global review notification settings

  • Blueprint: Fields library (edit) and forms library (view)

  • Requirements: Retrieve submitted requirements

Features that are greyed out are coming soon. The links are there as placeholders, to assist with becoming familiar with the navigation in Blackbaud Grantmaking. We encourage you to start looking around in the new Blackbaud Grantmaking SKY View right away--although some features are still only available in the Classic view.

Remember--you can move between both seamlessly.
