Prospect Development Analyst at UW-La Crosse Alumni & Friends Foundation

The Prospect Development Analyst (PDA) helps donor-facing fundraisers—including the President, VP of the UW Alumni & Friends Foundation, and the Vice Chancellor for University Advancement—by providing research that supports smart strategy and strong donor relationships. This role identifies potential donors, updates records, evaluates giving capacity, and recommends tailored giving approaches. The PDA also manages fundraiser portfolios, including quarterly reviews and classification updates.

They lead donor data analytics, conduct wealth screenings, generate reports, and perform external research to find high-potential prospects. Working closely with the Development Team and Advancement Services, the PDA helps build tools, training, and standards to keep donor data accurate and actionable. As a strategic partner to fundraisers, the PDA ensures prospect pipelines align with institutional goals.
