Hi K-12 Community!  

I’m excited to be sharing with you today the news that Blackbaud has acquired SchoolBI! For those who aren’t familiar, SchoolBI is a purpose-built business intelligence platform that simplifies data operations, unifies disparate data systems, and enables data visualization across products and industry benchmark data for K–12 Independent Schools. This is an incredibly exciting acquisition for us because welcoming SchoolBI into our ecosystem will allow us to bring our powerful analytics, streamlined reporting, and actionable intelligence to independent school groups and multi-campus institutions. 

We want our customers to be focused on creating a positive and successful student environment without having to worry about the back-end systems and disparate data repositories. This investment will accelerate the promise we made at bbcon 2025 to empower our market-leading K–12 Total School Solution with intelligent action. Bringing data from multiple locations together into a single unified reporting dashboard will provide you, school leaders, with a holistic view of performance, trend analysis, and actionable insights, all while removing complexity and friction from the administrative experience.

With the addition of SchoolBI, Blackbaud is now the leading provider to enable multi-campus school groups with essential institution-wide reports to better understand key metrics of success. SchoolBI adds to a list of other recently announced improvements from Blackbaud directed at K–12 Independent Schools like Common Records Engine, Student Success Insights, Collections Assistant, and other AI capabilities, that when combined offer smarter, more predictive tools to help schools deliver student success. Now, those powerful tools can be wielded at an institution-wide scale for even greater results. We will be sharing more details of the commercial offer as we integrate SchoolBI into our system.
