I am trying to build my first custom insight and need to use non-financial data for it. I am looking to calculate our costs per unit using metrics such as miles, passengers, service units, etc…. I am having some difficulty figuring out the best way to load this "unit" data into Blackbaud and retrieving it into the insight. Can any of you experts share some tricks & tips to best accomplish this?

Any update? We would love to be able to use the units for calculations also. Better yet it would be great if we could include a budget and variance for the units.

We are a healthcare provider. Being able to incorporate FTEs and encounters would be amazing!
