Running Multiple Reports at Once

Question

In the database view, you used to be able to add reports to a queue and run them all at once and they would download into a folder you specified. Is there any way you can do that in the web view? This was so convenient since we have 30+ reports we run/download at the end of the month.

I am also leaving a comment to say that we are experiencing the same reporting issues. We had to run a lot of large reports today for end of year items. Now we have nine reports stuck in the queue and we just have to wait until they generate or cancel after 24 hours. Very hard to work around as many of these items are time sensitive. Please FE come up with a way to cancel reports in order to avoid this!

They mentioned running reports off-peak times or adding more filters to a report as a work-around to prevent this from happening, but this isn't really a viable solution.

Hello Kathryn, you mentioned updating security settings to prevent people from running a full financial statement report ( I am assuming with no filters). Can you provide details of what settings you changed to prevent this? I expect this to happen to us eventually.

We are experiencing MAJOR issues due to the reporting change. Someone ran a full financial statement report (incorrectly) and blocked the whole queue for two days. So I do not recommend running multiple large reports at once unless you are scheduling them for overnight. We've now updated the security settings so it can't happen again, but blackbaud told us there is no way to cancel a report once you've started running it. Their only suggestion was to come to the community page and request this change, so here we are requesting the ability to cancel a report once it has been run and "upvoting" every report-related post!
