Use of M2 Terminal + RENXT Online Giving Form for in-person tap/swipe-to-pay

I'm a SKY API beginner and I'm wondering if there is an existing Add-in, or way to create an Add-In, for an NXT Online Giving form that allows a "swipe" or "tap-to-pay" option using an in-person Blackbaud Terminal (preferably the small M2 reader instead of the big BBPOS WisePos). We have an existing tablet donation kiosk with an App through another vendor that allows people to pay in-person, but their donation form is not ideal. We would prefer to use an existing RENXT donation form with the swipe/tap-to-pay option for a smooth & modern in-person donor experience.

if you are using the Blackbaud M2 Terminal, then use the Blackbaud app to charge.

There is not an option to use RE NXT donation form and when filling in payment, do the tap/swipe.

Any reason why the default app to charge is not good enough?

Unfortunately, the Blackbaud MobilePay Terminal app doesn't offer enough fields to meet our needs for a standalone donor kiosk. We would like to include our logo, a custom title, newsletter opt-in/opt-out, and a custom question (clarifying whether their gift is a donation or merchandise purchase).

As mentioned, you are not going to be able to use a M2 Terminal device to tap/swipe for credit card charge while using a different form technology (i.e. RENXT Donation form). That's just not how it works.

I'm assuming your need is 2-fold:

1. a standalone kiosk as donation
   1. I can't imagine you can do a kiosk that does merchandise purchase that is not handled by a staff
   2. so everything from this "standalone" kiosk would be just donation
   3. One such company is Kind Kiosk, https://kindkiosk.com/
2. merchandise purchase
   1. you can use M2 Terminal with the Blackbaud app as the device will be operated by your staff (someone buying merchandise will need staff present).
   2. M2 Terminal have a note field you can use to determine if the transaction is for what.

Thanks, @Alex Wong. Can you checkout this this Blackbaud documentation below and let me know if this applies? I'm not sure if Blackbaud Checkout relates to our online giving forms and/or BB MobilePay Terminal app, or maybe neither..… thanks for looking.

Not familiar as I have not done this personally. But from the reading, it still does not allow you to use an existing form technology with the terminal. You will need to create a new payment form technology and use the API to integrate.
