Work in progress to depreciation

Question

Hello, how do you move construction in progress (WIP) to a depreciable fixed asset in Financial Edge NXT?   I have gone into the asset and changed it from Do Not Depreciate to Straight Line.  I have also changed the GL code and service date, however when I run my reports it is still showing up under the WIP (work in progress) and not depreciation.  Any help is great appreciated.  Thanks!
