Expense Management - Post Date

We have been using Expense Management for several months now. Does anyone know if there is a way to enter a Post Date on an invoice request? Is the date on the "Expense Category" line the post date?

Currently it doesn't have one as it's a request, not a true invoice. But it gets the date from the Invoice request as it's post date when approved and the invoice is saved in payables.
