Setting up budget visibility by program manager

Hi all,
We're about to start our new fiscal year in July and are working to get all our program managers set up in Financial Edge so they can see their various budgets directly in FE.

I'm curious how others configure FE so that program managers can see only their own board-approved budgets; ideally expense budgets only.

For context, our org runs about 15 different programs, and each program has a funding mix of grant funds and donor funds. That means there are multiple project IDs under each program, which adds a layer of complexity to how we'd scope what each manager can see.

A few questions:
Is this level of restricted, manager-by-manager budget visibility achievable natively in FE?
Can it be limited to expense accounts only?
Or would we be better off exporting to Excel or Power BI to deliver these views?

Looking forward to hearing how others have approached this. Thanks!

We use project security queries to restrict/manage this type of access and based on my understanding you could use similar queries to restrict access to see accounts also. Within a particular user you then assign these queries in their Financial Edge NXT record security set up to control what projects and accounts they can see when looking records in FE or when running reports (if they have that type of access). Please DM me if you would like to discuss more.
