Applicant and Grantee Portal

As a reminder, the Legacy IGAM Portal shuts down on July 29, 2026. Start using the new Applicant and Grantee Portal now to avoid last‑minute disruption. Why is the IGAM portal shutting off?

The new Applicant and Grantee Portal became available for all Blackbaud Grantmaking customers globally in June of 2024 and provides significant benefits over the Legacy (IGAM) solution. We have redesigned the end-to-end experience for applicants and grantees through this new Portal and encourage you to download the Applicant and Grantee Portal Transition Checklist, and visit the Help FileFrequently Asked Questions, and Customer Success resource page for further details and help navigating and learning about the experience.

What’s New

We’re excited to announce several powerful enhancements that are now available in Blackbaud Grantmaking™. These updates are designed to streamline your workflows and give you more control over your grantmaking data.

  • Set character limits for Table field columns — Set clear expectations for responses and improve data quality with configurable character limits for table columns. You can now define minimum and maximum character lengths for each column, and the system enforces those limits as users enter data, helping ensure more consistent, complete, and usable information across your forms.
  • Project and Event Title on application card — Help applicants quickly recognize their submissions with clearer application cards in the Applicant Portal. Project Title and Event Title now display on each card, making it easier to distinguish between multiple applications within the same program and cycle, so users can find what they need faster.
  • Archive Forms — Keep your form library organized without losing valuable data. Archiving lets you remove forms from future use while preserving existing submissions, helping reduce clutter, prevent accidental reuse of outdated forms, and maintain cleaner, more manageable program setups.

Comments

  • Thank you for including the project title on the applicant card - this is a great improvement and will help grantees manage their grants! We allow multiple grants, in overlapping cycles, so this will be very helpful!
