Here are the latest changes in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT for June 9, 2026.

The following features are generally available to everyone!

Capture consent only when donors take action on Optimized Donation Forms

Now, consent on an Optimized Donation Form records only when donors take action. When you create a new Optimized Donation Form and leave Select all opt-ins by default cleared under Consent preferences, Raiser's Edge NXT does not automatically record opt-outs on the constituent record. This helps you stay compliant and maintain accurate contact preferences.

Explore the gifts and donors behind your campaign, fund, and appeal charts

Charts in the Analysis and Overview tabs of campaigns, funds, and appeals now support drill-through navigation. Select any bar or segment in a chart to jump directly to the Gifts or Donors tab — with filters already applied — so you can move from summary insight to specific data in a single click.

Build your own donor insights with custom intelligent tags (for some of you) 

You can now create custom intelligent tags in Raiser's Edge NXT — defining your own donor insights based on constituent queries or lists and surfacing them automatically across your fundraising workflows.

Tip: This capability is a Premium feature. What's a Premium feature?

With custom tags, you connect a tag to any constituent query or list in your environment. Each night, Raiser's Edge NXT evaluates the data source and assigns the tag to matching constituents. Tags then appear on constituent records, in lists, in Work Center, and across Blackbaud AI experiences — giving your team the right context, automatically.

Your organization can create up to 25 active custom tags to reflect priorities like major donor prospects, high-engagement constituents, or any other segment that shapes your outreach strategy. Admins create and manage custom tags in Settings, Intelligent tags, on the Custom tags tab.
