Relationships / Network Connections question

We often export network connections from the Affiliations tab in Research Point to aid in relationship mapping. The excel document includes individual names from organizations that our prospect served on (confirmed boards and foundations).

We notice that the Lookup Field in the export file is not always populated even though it is someone that is in our Raiser's Edge database. Since RE and RP synch data, we don't understand why the RE ID is missing from the relationship / network connection document. We realize there may be instances of Head of Household in RE being different than the screening in RP but why are they missed if it is the same in both systems?

Thanks for any insights or workarounds.

Hi @Constance Kristofik! The Lookup ID field that shows beside a name in Network Connections is for any person that already has a record in ResearchPoint, not necessarily one that is linked with their corresponding Raiser's Edge NXT record. If you go back to the ResearchPoint record > Network Connections, is there a Lookup ID next to the name in question? And is the name highlighted as a link?

My first thought is that for those network connections you are exporting from RP that have an RE NXT record but aren't showing a Lookup ID on the Network Connections export, they may not have a ResearchPoint record yet.

I am happy to troubleshoot further if this is not the case! Or please let me know if I misunderstood the question!
