Suppress percentages for coding in new portal form

In the igam portal, I could uncheck the box "Include Percentages" that were tied to various coding options. This appeared to allow the code to be selected without the user needing to identify the percentage for each selection. This was helpful because if I want to just stop requiring a percentage in the overall classification table settings by unchecking "Track Percentages", the message indicates "Existing Requests will be initialized to not track percentages on this code. Percent allocations on all Requests will be lost. Do you wish to proceed?" I do not want all of the prior data lost. It would be great to not force the user to add a percentage on each and every code I have on the form. Is there another way to do this that I am overlooking?
